Custom projects can range in length from a few hours to a few months, depending on the size of the project. Typically, if you don’t need a whole new website, you might hire me to enhance the website you have, adding pages or setting up connections to other marketing or automation systems. It could also be a time where you request that I look at something you’ve done to either troubleshoot or improve it. I can also spend time helping you learn your website platform or give advice if you’re trying to make a decision about a purchase.

Sorry, it’s a no to WordPress
The only DIY platform I don’t work on is WordPress because of its complexities and its plethora of plugins. I am happy to recommend a WordPress designer if you need one.
My specialty is drag-and-drop DIY platforms, not coding
I’m not a developer who works on website platforms designed for enterprise use. If you have a Drupal, Joomla, or another custom-coded website, I’m not the right person to help.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation so you can tell me more about your website project and ask questions about the process. If we decide to work together, I’ll get more information from you to give you a ballpark estimate to make sure the project fits within your budget and your timeline.
I charge an hourly rate of $75/hour, based on the actual number of hours worked. As we work together, I keep you updated about the hours worked and the tasks accomplished. If needed, we can refine the goal to fit within a specific budget or timeline.
THE INVESTMENT
I offer free 30-minute phone consultations to talk about the project you have in mind. I’ll answer your questions and explain your options for getting that intimidating website project done. I promise I won’t overwhelm you. I believe in demystifying technology so you can run your business understanding the basics of how your online presence works.
Usually ranges from $300-$2,900 at $75/hour
You also pay for the annual cost for a domain, website hosting, and any extras such as email and scheduling.

My office is located in Orange, Massachusetts, along the beautiful Mohawk Trail in western Massachusetts. However, through email, phone, and video conferencing tools, we can work together no matter where you are located. I work with clients all over the United States (and occasionally in Canada).

I can make a reasonably close ballpark estimate of a project if the scope of the work is clear. Our free 30-minute consultation provides some of the information, then a first working meeting can provide more. I’ll give a rough estimate so you know if what you’d like to accomplish with your website is within your budget and timeline. You’ll pay only for the actual hours worked.

While I do my best to estimate how long a task will take, sometimes it may take longer. I’m transparent about what my time is being spent on and can give you options about ways to proceed.

I issue online invoices, which you can pay securely online or by mailing a check. Depending on the size of the project, there may be an upfront retainer requested.

My Service Agreement is set up to allow you to halt a project before it’s done. I ask only that you pay for the hours that I’ve invested. If I’ve spent time on your project, I don’t give a refund of the hours I’ve already worked.
